Schoenberg Notturno for Strings and Harp
Wolf Ferrari String Serenade, Scherzo and Presto
Debussy Danses Sacrée et Profane
Suk Serenade
A soaring solo violin, a gentle harp, the warmth of a string orchestra… Schoenberg’s atmospheric Notturno for Strings and Harp, composed when he was just 17, is an underperformed delight. Join us to discover this gorgeous work alongside beautiful pieces by Wolf Ferrari, Debussy and Suk, performed with the wonderful Keziah Thomas.
As Covid is still with us in Oxford, this will be a short, hour-long concert with no interval. Orchestra and audience will be requested to continue to maintain socially distancing.
